Privacy notice

Last updated · 12 August 2026

This notice explains how PR Wave Nest Pte. Ltd. ("PR Wave Nest", "we", "us") handles personal data in connection with the website at prwavenest.life and related enquiries. We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore. By using this site you acknowledge this notice. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

Who we are

PR Wave Nest Pte. Ltd. is an independent public-relations and corporate-communications firm with its office at 23 Keong Saik Road, #04-01, Singapore 089126. For data-protection matters, contact [email protected]. General enquiries may be sent to [email protected].

Scope of this notice

This notice covers personal data collected through prwavenest.life itself. It does not govern client engagements, which are covered by separate contractual terms and project-specific privacy arrangements agreed in writing. Where you email us directly, the content of your message — including your name, organisation, telephone number and any other details you choose to include — is handled under the sections below concerning correspondence.

What this site collects

prwavenest.life is a static information website. There is no contact form, no account registration, no newsletter sign-up and no third-party analytics provider embedded in this build. The categories of data involved are therefore limited:

  • Server and access logs. When you request a page, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, requested path, response code and timestamp. These logs help us maintain security, diagnose faults and understand aggregate traffic patterns. They are not used to build individual profiles.
  • Cookie and consent preference. If you interact with the cookie banner, we store your category choices in a first-party cookie named pwn_consent and mirror the value in local storage under the key cookie_consent_v1. The stored JSON records whether functional and analytics categories are enabled, a timestamp, and a version number. Essential storage is always active because the site cannot remember your consent choice without it. Full detail is in our cookie notice.
  • Google Maps embed. Every page on this site includes an embedded Google Map showing the Keong Saik / Tanjong Pagar neighbourhood. When the map loads, Google may receive technical data such as your IP address, device information and interaction signals according to Google's own policies. We do not control Google's processing. The map is classified as functional / embedded content and remains visible regardless of your consent choice; we disclose this clearly on the cookie page because maps serve a practical location function rather than marketing tracking on our site.
  • Email and telephone correspondence. If you contact us outside the website — by writing to [email protected] or calling +65 6619 2847 — we receive whatever personal data you include in your message or voice conversation. That data is not collected automatically by the website but is processed when you initiate contact.

Legal basis and purpose

Under the PDPA, organisations need a legitimate purpose and reasonable consent (where required) to collect, use and disclose personal data. Our purposes are:

  • Operating and securing the website, including fraud prevention and incident investigation (server logs).
  • Remembering your cookie preferences so the consent banner does not reappear on every visit (consent cookie and local storage).
  • Displaying neighbourhood context for visitors who wish to locate our office (Google Maps embed).
  • Responding to enquiries and, where relevant, discussing a potential engagement (email and telephone).
  • Complying with applicable law, regulatory requests and internal record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use this website to run behavioural advertising or cross-site profiling. There is no analytics pixel in this build; the analytics toggle in the cookie panel exists for transparency and future compatibility but remains off by default and unused.

Retention

Consent preferences are retained for approximately six months (one hundred and eighty days), after which the banner may appear again so you can refresh your choice. Server logs are kept for a period appropriate to security and hosting practice, typically between thirty and ninety days unless a longer period is required to investigate an incident. Email correspondence relating to enquiries is kept for as long as needed to respond, administer a relationship, or satisfy legal and business record requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised where feasible. If an engagement proceeds, retention follows the project agreement.

Disclosure and processors

We share personal data only where necessary:

  • Hosting provider. The website is hosted independently in Singapore. The provider processes server logs and delivers page content on our instructions.
  • Google. When you load a page containing the map iframe, Google processes data as an independent controller for its mapping service. Review Google's privacy documentation for details of their retention and controls.
  • Professional advisers. We may disclose data to lawyers, auditors or insurers where required for compliance or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
  • Authorities. We may disclose data where compelled by Singapore law or a valid legal process.

We do not routinely transfer personal data outside Singapore through this website. If you email us from abroad, your message will be received on systems we operate or instruct in Singapore.

Cookies

Cookies and similar storage on this site are described in detail on cookies.php, including how to change your preferences using the "Manage cookies" control and how to clear storage in common browsers. Essential cookies cannot be disabled while still using the consent mechanism. Functional and analytics categories can be toggled; maps remain embedded and disclosed as functional content.

Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the limited data processed through this site — including transport encryption where supported, access controls on administrative systems, and hosting arrangements with reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we review our arrangements periodically.

Your rights under the PDPA

Subject to exceptions in the PDPA, you may:

  • Ask whether we hold personal data about you and receive access to that data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent, recognising that withdrawal may affect features that depend on it (for example, a stored cookie preference may be cleared).
  • Enquire about our policies and practices regarding personal data.

Submit requests to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity before releasing information. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.

Children

This site is directed at business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under eighteen through the website. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our practices or legal requirements change. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acknowledgement of the revised notice to the extent permitted by law.
